Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant science discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Candidates with degrees such as Integrated BS-MS, BS-4 Years, BE, B.Tech, B.Pharma, and MBBS are also eligible to apply.
Students who are in the final year of their qualifying degree or awaiting final results are eligible to apply.
Applicants with only a Bachelor's degree can apply only for CSIR JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). , and that too after enrolling in a Ph.D. or Integrated Ph.D. program within the two-year validity period.
Candidates currently pursuing M.Sc. or those who have completed 10+2+3 years of education can apply under the Result Awaited category, subject to fulfilling specific eligibility conditions.
